Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 aka Galaxy Tab 10.1 will released soon in India on August 10th. Samsung has officially announced that its Galaxy Tab 750 will be launched on August 10th in Indian market.  The launch event will be live webcast for you here. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a 10.1-inch display, runs on Android Android 3.1 Honeycomb, a dual core nVIDIA Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1GHz and 1GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 will be available in 16/32/64 GB internal storage variants. Other specifications are 3.0MP camera on the rear and 2.0 MP camera on the front for video calling. ED to probe financial set up of Speak Asia -Courtesy: Headlines Today June 21, 2011 | Updated 11:18 IST

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) would begin a probe into the financial set up of Singapore-based online survey company Speak Asia.

The development comes about a month after Headlines Today blew the lid off the controversial company. The ED would investigate the money flow of Speak Asia and how it collected crores of rupees from 19 lakh Indian investors through various entities, opened accounts in Indian banks and than transferred the money to Haren Ventures Ltd in Singapore.

Haren Ventures is the front company, owned by Speak Asia CEO Harender Kaur.

ED would track the flow of money to find out if the company was involved in money laundering.

Speak Asia was in the spotlight recently for giving more than 500 per cent return to investors violating the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) rules. It had also violated RBI norms by collecting crores of rupees from gullible investors and transacting abroad without a head office in India.

The ministry of corporate affairs had earlier said that it could not investigate Speak Asia because the company was not registered in India and the ministry did not have the company's database. Singapore-based United Overseas Bank had closed the bank accounts of Speak Asia following the Headlines Today expose last month.

Speak Asia however said on Tuesday that it had not received any intimation about the ED probe. In a statement, the company said: "We are yet to receive any intimation, notice, letter or questionnaire from the Enforcement Directorate or any other wing or department of any government agency/authority."

With more of a whimper than a bang, after the launch of longer validity Unlimited 3G Data Plans, MTNL introduces another path breaking, cheapest 3G Data Plan of Rs.20 which offers free 3G Data Usage up to 250 MB plus 25 Local and 25 National SMS to any network across India.

The Free Data Usage will be valid till midnight (1 day) and beyond free usage data charges will be 1 paisa for 10 KB. The free data usage is also applicable in while National Roaming on BSNL Network anywhere in India except Jammu & Kashmir circle wherein prepaid roaming not allowed.

The 3G Data Plan-20 is launched initially in e-recharge (Pyro) and subsequently it may be extended through paper coupon.

HTC Salsa Android 2.3 Officially Introduced in India

HTC has officially launched HTC Salsa Android smartphone in India. The HTC Salsa smartphone is powered by 800 Mhz Qualcomm processor and runs Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Though this phone already available for purchase since last week via online retailer Flipkart. HTC India offer it around Rs. 22,000 but at Flipkart its available at only Rs. 20,399.

According to Indian unit of The Taiwanese handset manufacturer HTC,  “HTC has always understood that different people want different things and the new HTC Salsa offers special new ways to socialize through a mobile device. With Indians increasingly getting hooked on to the social web, we wanted to create the ultimate socially connected phone which makes this experience simple and convenient".

HTC Salsa was initially introduced in February during the 2011 Mobile World Congress Barcelona. HTC Salsa features a 3.4-inch TFT capacitive multi-touch screen with 320 x 480 pixels resolution, 512 MB ROM, 512 MB RAM, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, a 5-megapixel main camera and a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls. The phone is powered by a 1520 mAh Li-Ion battery with Talk time Up to 240 minutes and Standby time Up to 120 hours.

BSNL Launches STV-53, Local Own Net Call 1paisa Per Minute

India’s National telecom Backbone and Mobile service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) announced the launch of one New Special tariff Vouchers- 53 for cheapest own net local calling facility in Himachal Pradesh telecom circle.

BSNL’s STV-53 enable its subscribers to make all own network local calls just for 1 Paisa per Minute. The STV comes with the tariff validity of 7 days from the date of recharge and can be clubbed with for all 2G and 3G prepaid plans in Himachal Pradesh circle.

STV -53 will be available as a promotional offer to all 2G and 3G prepaid subscribers and valid up to 29 July 2011. BSNL is the 2nd largest GSM Mobile service operator in Himachal Pradesh telecom circle with 16,25,235 subscribers as per COAI Data as on April, 2011.

BlackBerry Playbook by RIM is set to international launch next month. The tablet is running on BlackBerry very own QNX OS. Google India launched official YouTube BoxOffice channel for Indian users. This official channel will streaming the latest  Bollywood blockbuster movies. Band Baaja Baaraat is the first movie available to this YouTube BoxOffice channel. The YouTube BoxOffice India channel is sponsored by Intel.

The featured film "Band Baaja Baaraat" is available for viewing only in India. However, the "More Movies" tab underneath the main film gadget contains movies that you can view from any country. Google has promised to feature a latest blockbuster movie on YouTube BoxOffice channel every month.
