Vodafone Essar Ltd, one of India’s leading cellular service provider has launched a Callertune application on Facebook dubbed as ” Vodafone Callertune share “. This is the first time a telecom operator is launching such a unique service where Vodafone customers can search for, Preview and Set their Callertune on Facebook and post it to their wall to let their friends share the music they love.
Through Vodafone Callertune share, powered by partner Onmobile global Ltd Vodafone customers can search for their favourite songs from a bank of 3.5 lakh songs across Bollywood, Regional and International genres . They can hear the song and set it as their Callertune which will automatically be shared with their friends on their Facebook wall. Customers can also see what Callertunes their friends have and Copy their favorite ones. They can also recommend Callertunes to friends though this application and allow them to copy the Callertunes by simply clicking the post on the wall.

There is no charge for using this application. To start using this application, customers need to register their Vodafone mobile numbers on the facebook application ‘Vodafone Callertune share’. Only the standard subscription of Callertunes apply.

At the launch of the application, BP Singh, CEO, Vodafone Karnataka said, “‘Vodafone Callertune share’ extends the Callertune services onto Facebook enabling our customers to activate and recommend songs to their friends, all from the comfort of their social network page. We have more than a million fans on facebook and they will surely enjoy this service.”
