Note: Only MIDP/j2me programs are allowed to run with these programs. Your mobile programs must to be have *.jar extension. For example MIG33.jar , asphalt_3_3d.jar etc. If you don’t see jar extension on your PC, then go to tools > folder options > view. In view tab you will see many options marked or unmarked. Look for the option “hide extensions for known file types”. Unmark it. Then click OK. Now you will able to see your all files extensions.

NHAL Win32 Emulator is the 2nd most used tool to do this job. It has more options than SJ Boy. But the problem is it not as friendly as SJ Boy is. It also has a sub tool which will allow you to convert your .*jar file into .*exe. But that’s not real. Because the main program must be installed to run that converted exe!. BSNL Announced 2 New STV To Reduce Day And Night Calling Rates

India’s National telecom Backbone and Mobile service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today announced the launch of 2 New Special tariff Vouchers STV-61 & STV-65 for Night calling facility at reduced rates under 2G & 3G Prepaid Services in Karnataka telecom circle.

BSNL Karnataka’s STV-61 enabled its subscribers to make all own network local calls just for 30p day time and 10 paisa during night hours. The STD and other network call charges during night hours (11.00 PM to 06.00 AM) will be 30 paisa per minute across all networks.

STV-65 offers 10p/minute Day and Night tariff for all own network local calls (BSNL to BSNL) with in Karnataka circle. While during night hours (11.00 PM to 06.00 AM) all Local and STD calls to any other network across India will be 30p/minute.

Both STVs comes with tariff validity of 30 days form the date of recharge and can be activated by SMS.

When I noticed this banner ad claiming unlimited ISD calls @ Rs.200/month, got surprised as to how one can get unlimited ISD calls at a rate on which you won’t get local on- net unlimited calls. I immediately rushed to get in the details and found it to be an attention grabbing creative headline for an advertisement copy and not true in toto.
But yes, for five international destinations, through VoIP connection and if you pay 1 year rental in advance (Rs.2400) ,then you get unlimited ISD calls at Rs.200/month effectively. So there are three conditions involved and the fourth condition is that you need to have a broadband connection as it’s a VoIP connection. But there is one more catch into it and i.e. who will pay for broadband data charges consumed in making calls. If your broadband connection is not truly unlimited then it will be costly as data consumption in making VoIP calls makes it costly, then it’s no longer Rs.200/month effectively.
I went through the website of the company and read all the details and nowhere subscriber is informed about the data charges broadband service provider will charge. It only says that an internet connection is a prerequisite for using the service.
So what would you call it, a misleading ad?

SPEAK ASIA IS A SCAM ??? - BANK MONEY TRANSFER STOPPED

Speak Asia is a Singapore based market research company that organizes online surveys for various products and companies. It launched it’s services in India sometime back and there are a number of ads you see on TV and newspapers. People wonder, how Speak Asia works and how it makes money? Is it real or a scam?



Speak Asia charges Rs.11,000 ($250) to register. Once successfully registered, a set of surveys are provided to answer. For every survey you complete, you get paid Rs. 500 ($11.36)







Speak Asia currently offers 3 different methods to register.



Email a scanned copy of your income statement which states that you earn over $1000 from one of the top 20 survey companies.

Apply for a test in English. The examination fee is $60. The topics will range from general knowledge to comprehension. You can give test at Mumbai or Singapore.

Pay $120 for 26 issues of online surveys or $220 for 52 issues and get direct entry to Speak Asia.




Here’s the catch. The first two ways of signing up for the program makes some sense as they are accepting quality panelists, but the third way to sign up for the program sounds fishy. Anyone can register by paying the fee and I wonder how they can compromise quality for $220?



Here are some interesting facts and things that have been happening in the last few days.



Speak Asia’s website states that they have their main office in Singapore and do not have an registered office in India yet. Wonder how they’re still offering services in India? The documents listed in Speak Asia’s website are rubbish. No legal documents of the company are available online.



Headline Today conducted a background check on Speak Asia sometime back and found out that the owner of Speak Asia is not based in Singapore and lives in Tax haven of British Virgin Island.



Interestingly, IndiaToday reported that the ownership of Speak Asia conforms to a typical offshore structure where multi-layered waterfall structure is created to hide the actual owner.



On 27th May, United Overseas Bank, based in Singapore has closed all accounts of Speak Asia.




“Our bank account in Singapore has not been frozen… we are only moving our company account to another bank. We are approaching and evaluating various other banks in Singapore from where we will soon be able to disburse the payments to all panelists,” Speak Asia said in a statement.
